a) Question: What are the 3 major components in the criminal justice system, and explain how they work together?

Although this is one question, it requires you to identify all players involved during a court hearing. Be sure to include other players in the court system that are not mentioned in this question.
- Question: Define an "arraignment", describe what the roles of a defense attorney and a prosecutor are in a criminal trial? How does those role interact when presenting facts the judge and jury?
Research/Term Paper due at the end of this course
Research/Term Paper Assignment
Select a topic from a chapter we covered in this course. Identify and explain the topic that you are most interested in, and write a research/term paper that covers the topic. You may also use your own experiences relating to the topic in order to highlight your points.
Your paper has to be complete and over 500 of your own words. You paper is to be complete and no less 500 words.
For example, if you were most interested in crime classifications and wish to write about it; research felony and misdemeanor crimes, and how you can distinguish them apart. Or, if your were interested in the different levels in law enforcement, cover each level with research identifying each agency in those levels. If you wish to bring your own experiences, explain how you will work in the system you presented. Your paper does not have to relate to a personal experiences. However, personal experiences are usually easier to write about. Just relate it to your topic.
